Day 7: (it’s a holiday)

Dear Labor Day,

May Day > you, memories of Haymarket notwithstanding. The fact that you herald the beginning of classes is yet another strike against you. Nothing personal, you understand; but I’d prefer to look forward to summer loving and the siblinghood of humanity than to look forward to falls and and narrow nationalism.

See you next year,

Sook.
